  Certified as a “2025 Health and Productivity Management Organization”

  We have been certified as a “2025 Health and Productivity Management Organization (Large Enterprise Category)” under the Health and Productivity Management Certification System, jointly administered by Japan’s Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) and the Nippon Kenko Kaigi.

  Established in 2016 by METI, this certification system aims to promote transparency by recognizing corporations—both large and small—that demonstrate outstanding practices in health and productivity management. The program helps create an environment where such efforts are valued by employees, job seekers, business partners, and financial institutions.

  Recipient of the Grand Prize at the Eco Mark Award 2022

  FRANCE BED CO., LTD. was awarded the Grand Prize at the Eco Mark Award 2022 in recognition of its pioneering efforts in developing environmentally conscious products and services. These initiatives include a welfare equipment rental service, acquisition of Eco Mark certification, and the establishment of a mattress disassembly system—setting a benchmark for sustainability within the industry.

  MORELIY and Multi-Position Bed Win Good Design Award

  In 2021, the Multi-Position Bed for Assisted Mobility and the environmentally conscious mattress dismantling system MORELIY® received the Good Design Award.

  The Multi-Position Bed transforms into four different positions-from lying down to standing-supporting user independence and reducing caregiver burden. It was highly praised as a solution to challenges such as caregiver shortages and elderly-to-elderly caregiving.

  MORELIY® is an eco-friendly dismantling system designed to allow a single person to easily disassemble and sort spring mattresses, which are typically difficult to dispose of properly. Its environmental consideration and practical implementation were recognized with high acclaim.

  

  Grand Prize Winner at the 9th Asia-Pacific Eldercare Innovation Awards

  FRANCE BED CO., LTD.’s Multi-Position Bed for Assisted Mobility was awarded the top prize in the “Innovation of the Year – Product” category at the 9th Asia Pacific Eldercare Innovation Awards 2021, held as part of the Ageing Asia Innovation Forum. The award recognizes the product’s ability to address the needs of both users and caregivers, offering enhanced safety, comfort, and independence in eldercare settings.

  The Asia Pacific Eldercare Innovation Awards celebrate outstanding achievements in eldercare across the region, with over 1,000 industry professionals gathering to honor excellence in products, services, and leadership that improve the quality of life for elder poeple.

  

  Industry-First Eco Mark Certification for Six Hotel Mattress Models

  FRANCE BED CO., LTD. has achieved a significant milestone by becoming the first in the industry to obtain Eco Mark certification for six mattress models designed for hotel use. The Eco Mark, established by the Japan Environment Association, is awarded to products that demonstrate low environmental impact throughout their entire lifecycle—from production to disposal—and contribute to environmental conservation.

  The certified mattresses feature high-density continuous springs for superior comfort, utilize polyester fibers made from over 50% recycled materials, and meet strict chemical usage standards. These innovations reflect our commitment to sustainability and were highly evaluated for their contribution to a more eco-conscious hospitality industry.

  FRANCE BED CO., LTD.’s Auto Turning Bed was awarded the top prize in the “Best Solution to Support Ageing-in-place Assistive” category at the 7th Asia Pacific Eldercare Innovation Awards. The product was highly praised for its ability to address the needs of both users and caregivers, offering enhanced comfort, safety, and independence in home care settings.

  FRANCE BED CO., LTD. is proud to contribute to the smooth operation of EXPO 2025 Osaka-Kansai by supplying 30 units of nursing care beds—including our advanced Multi-Fit Beds—to the medical aid facilities on-site.

  Selected for JICA’s SDGs Business Support Program

  The joint proposal by FRANCE BED CO., LTD., THE FRANCE BED MEDICAL HOMECARE RESEARCH AND SUPPORT FOUNDATION, and Tokai Kiki Kogyo Co., Ltd.-titled SDGs Business Formulation Survey with the Private Sector for Japanese-style rental service for welfare equipment in Thailand was selected for the SDGs Business Support Program for Small and Medium Enterprises, organized by the Japan International Cooperation Agency(JICA) in 2021(Survey Duration: April 2023~June 2024).

  This program is a project that aims to provide partner countries with high-quality, innovative technologies, knowledge, and ideas from Japanese companies to solve development issues through business.
